We have compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions, to help make planning your event even easier!

 

Q. When is the best time to book my event

The sooner you can book the event, the better, we are able to recomend venues and services if needs be, but please bear in mind that we do get very booked up, so bokk as far in advance as possible

 

Q. How much will it cost?

With many factors such as travel, working times and equipment requirements, an accurate price cannot be quoted here on the web as every function is different. Please contact me (oli@djzedline.co.uk) for an accurate quote, with no obligation to book.

 

Q. Can we determine the music you will play for the evening? Do you accept playlists or requests?

Of course requests are welcomed; your music tastes and requirements will be discussed well before your party. You are free to provide playlists too, differnt clients give differnt input levels, ranging from a genre (eg: 70's) to an entire list of tracks! Consider this…in a basic four-hour DJ set (the party average), the number of tracks played rarely exceeds 80.

 

Q. How far do you travel?

We are based in Tiverton, Devon, travel is free for the first 10 miles, after that a pre arranged cost will be added to the invoice.

 

Q. Can you set up in advance of the party, even before we sit down for the meal, etc?

No problem there, it is much easier to set up prior to the evnt starting, minimizing disruption to your guests.

 

Q. Will I receive a contract to confirm my booking?

Yes, along with DJ’s terms & conditions and a receipt for any deposit paid in advance.

 

Q. How will the DJ be dressed?

Always accordingly for the occasion

 

Q. We are worried about the noise level.
We’ve recently seen another DJ and he would not turn the volume down, it was far too loud for the room.

We own several differnt systems, and will select the one most sutible for your occasion. You the client can have total control of how loud or quite the music is, after all, it is your party!

 

Q. What lighting and pyrotechnics do you provide? Will there be strobes and smoke?

The lighting will be discussed with you at time of booking, we can supply strobes and smoke etc on request, but due to safety regulations it may not always be possible. All the equipment is professional grade and can create any atmosphere desired!

 

Q. What do you require from us on the night?
